Rolling Stones Performs “Jumping Jack Flash”
Bridges to Babylon Concert

This concert was a tough assignment. The Stones were playing huge venues and they had a video director controlling eight cameras that he was cutting for the screens. We couldn’t have cameras in the same places, and as the venue as sold out, management didn’t want to kill more seats for me to add my own.  So, I had to use some of his and some of mine. It was a nightmare. I had to do my line cut around his direction of his cameras and often his cameras weren’t doing what I needed at the moment — threw off my rhythm completely. I thought it was the worst thing I had ever done and was depressed for months. But it cleaned up fine in post, thanks to Jim Gable, editor.
